We are very very good at pointing to the ways in which we are oppressed, the feet that’s on our necks, what we are not good at is analyzing the necks that our feet are situated on. Thats the work, and by the way all of us have our feet, our wheels, whatever it is, on somebodies neck. So rather than trying to attempt to figure out what I need to transgress against or fight against that’s impacting me. The radical question in this moment is, how can I do the work of self transgression? How can I do self reflective work that would allow me to maneuver my chair or my foot off of someone else’s neck so that they can be free?
